The Exorcist - Believer (2023) - Film Review

Hey everyone,

For today's blog post I will be reviewing a film that I thought came out in 2025, but actually it was released in 2023...oops! It's another horror film which saw young girls Katherine and Angela fighting for their life after escaping from their homes and heading into the unknown forest late at night when they were supposed to be studying or eating dinner together.

It was a very exciting and interesting film which had a lot of turns and twists throughout, showcasing the different families involved and the police trying to investigate the issues with these girls and why they were acting a certain way. The acting from everyone in the film was really good and it kept the excitement of the film in tact. The overall story was really interesting, seeing the young people as the main characters who became possessed by a spirit or a presence and then acting very strange with their immediate families.

In the end, one of the girls does survive and the other does not, but it's interesting how their fate is decided. I would definitely recommend if you're into horror films, and it's probably one of those series where another film will be made (or has already been made) to follow on from the story that we have experienced in this film...

After a quick look online, it looks like there is an untitled film that is due to be released in March 2026, so I guess we should stay tuned for this... Until my next review...goodbye!
