Hey everyone,
In today's review I will be analysing some of the lyrics of a song by country singer Joe Cafarella called 'The Little Things' which seems to be a love song for his partner who he wants to spend his ensitre life with. Some of the lyrics include 'I don't care about the times we didn't share yet' suggesting that he's not thinking too much about the future but trying to enjoy the moments that he is currently experiencing with his other half. He adds that he doesn't care how 'life can seem a little unfair' which is a good way for him to think about life, as there will be parts that are not as great as others, and things will go wrong, but it's all about how you deal with this.
Joe also goes on to sing that 'I don't worry much as long as I'm with you', a way of him pouring out his love for the one that he loves. He describes love as something that is a 'long hard bitter truth where you can try and run, but you'll never get the chance' almost hinting at the fact that he loves this person too much, that they won't try and run away from the situation, no matter how difficult things get between the two of them. Other lyrics include the line 'oh if you could only see what your love has done for me' which is his way of explaining that it's the little things that are actually the things that he remembers the most, even though there may be tough times.
There is also a line which says 'the kids bust in the bedroom when there's things we need to do, it's all worth the wait as long as I'm with you' which may be talking about Joe and his partner making love in the bedroom. He adds that 'I've seen true love in just one night', which is another way of him saying that he's found the lover that he is going to be with forever, and although he may have made some mistakes or potentailly done things wrong, he is confirming his love for this person. It's a nice country style song with a genuine meaning behind the song, so let's see if Joe releases any new music soon!
Hopefully you enjoyed my review, and until my next one... goodbye!
