A series I watched recently which began back in 2019 is called 'After' and it's a romantic series which documents the growing friendship / relationship of bad boy Harden and new girl Tessa. Throughout the films, we see the good and bad parts of their relationship, the people who come in and out of their lives, and the growing relationship between the two of them. The films are called 'After', 'After We Collided', 'After We Fell' and the 2022 film 'After Ever Happy'.
In the most recent film released in 2022, 'After Ever Happy' shows the continued problems that Harden and Tessa are dealing with during their relationship, with various family stories being revealed, truths being told and a different path for both of them. At the end we are left with a cliffhanger after Tessa had 5 months away from Harden after moving to New York and taking time out for herself. We find out that the film is 'To be continued' and I think there are two potential reasons why Harden remained in the relationship with Tessa...either to tell their story as it would be a good seller, or Tessa was truly the woman who would change his life and it's a way that they can both inspire other people in relationships who may have issues, disagreements or arguments, proving that with trust, it's possible to get through. Great film series so far and excited to see what happens next!
