EIGHT PLAYERS REMAIN!
Tim invite Paddy to a private chat at the beginning of this episode to discuss 'Josh' and whether they felt like his profile was genuine or not; both agreeing that there were some catfish qualities and that the winner should be genuine. Tim called Paddy brave, honest and good and felt like he wanted to stay in Paddy's good books...Little did Tim know, he was part of a little group trying to get one of Tim's 'soldiers' blocked from the game!
Ella invited 'Josh' to a private group chat to ask about the previous game and why he didn't know much about Cricket...Ella admitted that other people had been speaking about him behind his back, but wasn't going to give any other information away because 'catfish keep their suspicions to themselves' and it's not her place to start spreading rumours about the other players...
'Sammie' decided to catch up with his crew Georgina and Paddy, labelling the name chat 'The Circle of Trust - the revolution' a.k.a COT...Paddy already knew of 'Sammie's plan, but pretended he didn't know what was going on, to try and see if Georgina was interested in joining the little clan. 'Sammie' added that Jan hasn't even began unpacking her stuff, and Georgina said she was happy to be part of the group and 'knock the others off their pedestals'.
'Josh' decided to come to the main Circle chat to discuss yesterday's game, and why he felt like he needed to apologise to all of the players, rather than being bombarded in the private messages. He said it was difficult to try and make friends in such a specific environment and it was obviously difficult for people to try to get to know him as he was trying to settle in quickly...He added that he was from a priviledged background, but wanted to try and prove himself rather than having his background speak for him. Tim was confused why he had to mention this, and some of the other players added that to their catfish radar...
Next was the ratings...The majority of the players gave 1st's to Woody/'Sammie' and Ella, Tim/'Sammie' and Georgina received a lot of 2nd place ratings, and 'Josh' pretty much got the lowest rating from all of the players! In the end, 'Sammie' and Tim became the influencers ONCE again, and both Jan and 'Josh' ended up at the bottom of the ratings list.
The influencers did NOT get to block 'Josh', but as he was at the bottom of the leaderboard, he was automatically blocked from the game...
'Josh' went to see Ella, and she was in shock when 'Josh' revealed his real identity was in fact 24 year old Busayo, a 24 year old black woman from London, instead of a 24 year old white man. 'Josh' a.k.a Busayo entered Ella's flat, and the first thing she said was 'Obviously I'm a catfish. I'm not Josh'.
She was praised by Ella on her gameplan, and revealed that it was quite believable at the beginning, but realised there were a few hints of catfish when her answers were vague...
Jan invited 'Sammie' for a private chat to catch up on their similarity of being single parents...(or so Jan thought), calling her a 'funny MILF' and praising her that she doesn't take herself too seriously'. Jan stated that she always felt better after having a chat with 'Sammie', to which 'Sammie' responded with the fact that she is always happy to comfort and give advice to people as and when needed!
Woody the invited his little crew; Ella and Tim to a different group chat to discuss the ratings, and why he was so far down the leaderboard. He thought that he might not have been doing anything wrong, but that other people were just doing things right! Ella revealed that 'Josh' was in fact an incredible woman, and they would be so disappointed to have lost her from The Circle...
'Sammie' finally invited Georgina and Paddy to a group chat to tell them that she was going to try and persuade Tim to get rid of Ella from The Circle...She said it would be difficult, but she was going to save both Georgina dn Paddy's backs!
