Episode 5 of The Circle and it was the episode that Orange Tally went to go and see Blue Tally, saying 'oh my god you're real' as soon as she wanted in. Tally explained that sometimes when Orange Tally was speaking, she had very good chat, but it did make her very angry. Orange Tally a.k.a Yolanda said 'I know you're p*ssed off, but you smashed that!' adding that Tally was the only person in The Circle that was similar to her, and that's why she decided to clone her, and she was happy that Tally was real! They both discussed some of the other players, with Tally saying that she thinks Syed is a young lad, especially as he was using words like 'banter', and they both seemed to agree that Gemma is a people pleaser. Orange Tally said 'you're here for a good time and a long time' and wished Tally the best in the game. Some of the other players realised that Orange Tally wasn't coming to visit them, with Manrika stating 'I didn't want her to come and see me anyway, good riddance to her'.
The Circle introduced two new players into the game in the form of two new catfish! Up first was Scott, who's introduction line described the bed by saying 'ooh, she's a comfy one'. He said he's an actor from Manchester and admits it's time to take centre stage as the leading lady herself...Dorothy Wilde! He explained that she's his 85 year old Grandma, and he's just your bog standard guy from Manchester. Scott also asked who would block an old loveable Grandma? He said he's made a living from pretending to be other people so this is going to be a 'walk in the park' and he said that his initial gameplan was to make this woman a cute little lady that everyone loves and trusts! The second catfish was Russian and English speaking Natalya who's initial thoughts of the apartment are 'so different to an army camp'. She explained that she's a British Military Policewoman and her role is to upload the law, admittign that she carries a baton and handcuffs among other things. She explained that because of how she looks and she job that she does, people would assume she's a catfish, so she decided to go into the game as her friend Felix! She also said that the girls will all 100% fancy him, and although he looks big and rugged, he's got a soft/gooey side which she will bring out. Natalya finally adds that she is around men 24/7 for her job and she knows how they talk and how to act in every situation. She decided to choose a profile picture of him sitting in a restaurant with his army uniform on, stating 'you can see he's in the military, but it's not intimidating'.
Syed's first comment was that Billy and Vithun's time is coming, as they didn't believe that Blue Tally was in fact the actual Tally and just before the players went to bed, both Dorothy and Felix were told that they were going to be added to The Circle in the morning. Dorothy said 'I think they're all gonna love Dot' and Felix said 'I'm gonna be the new guy on the block'. In the morning, Billy said that everyone apart from him and Vithun were on Team Blue, and Gemma said that instead of catfish hunting, it's more important to bring on allies and Tally said that 'they are gonna be shook' by Orange Tally's message for the others! Yolanda a.k.a Orange Tally and Chris left her message for the other players, and it's safe to say that they were all shocked. Syed said that she was given a second chance and she messed up again, with Andy admitting that both Billy and Vithun got mugged off. Tally said 'open The Circle chat, say you're sorry and I was wrong' with Andy stating that they all seem to be on the catfish catching club train! Syed said he was excited to see what Billy and Vithun had to say for themselves...with Vithun's message asking how he had managed to be catfished by the same person twice, and Tally accepting both of their apologies as it doesn't take a lot. Syed added that it was a good plan tactically for Tally, as she knows that they're both vulnerable and it's a good idea to get them both on side. The Circle revealed that there was another alert to which Tally replied 'I don't need no bad news' and Syed asking 'is Yolanda coming back?'. Both Dorothy and Felix were added to the game, and Felix said 'oh there's definitely some catfishes in here' with Syed stating that there was an army guy who was single, and he asked if Manrika could wait for him! Gemma admitted that she was the most feminine girl in there, so she wanted to try it on with Felix and Tally revealed that she knows old people well! Felix and Dorothy said their hello's to the rest of the group and Manrika was excited to be chatting to him soon, adding that he is fit!
Tally invited Manrika to a private chat to discuss two two new players, admitting that she knows older people better than anyone because of her job, and Manrika instantly said that Dorothy's bio seemed to be a bit easy. Tally suggested they add Dorothy to the group chat to get to know her better, and Manrika said that 'the last thing I want, is for a catfish to know I'm coming after them'. Dorothy explained that before she was retired, she used to work for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and after revealing that, Manrika said that 'anyone who works for the MOD can't speak about their job...so that was a bit suspicious' adding that she would have bought everything she said, until she mentioned the job. Tally on the other hand seems to think that Dorothy is the 85 year old lady, she she's taken a brave skint by coming into the game! Felix also started a private chat wityh Gemma, with Felix hoping that Gemma was going to flirt with him. Gemma asked Felix to tell her 3 interesting things about him to which he replied, he can speak another language, he's met Boris Johnson and flipped on a bike for fun! There seemed to be a bit of flirting as Gemma said 'you're definitely a true action man, and The Circle was definitely short of one'. Vithun also started a private chat with Andy, as new players had arrived and he didn't want to be replaced, so just wanted to remind Andy of his existence. He explained that he's never been a popular person and doesn't feel like people would him interesting because of how he looks or the job that he has. Andy reassured him by saying that at no point has he ever doubted that Vithun was a catfish, his banter is on point and 'I know there's many more people in here who won't judge'.
The 9 players in The Circle were then able to play another game called 'Hoedown' and they all had a delivery left for them outside their apartment doors. Tally was excited saying 'ooh line dancing!' as she knows that's the kind of thing Dorothy was into, and Gemma said 'Dorothy will love this!'. After dancing around in their hats, stripey shirts and toy horses, the players had to explain who they would snog, marry and avoid out of the other players! Tally went straight in saying she would snog Manrika, marry Syed and avoid Vithun because she felt like she would eat him alive. Manrika said she's snog Billy because of his banter, marry Tally, although she feels like they already are, and avoid Andy only because he's married with beautiful kids! Dorothy admitted that she had never played this game before, but that she would kiss Syed's cheek, and explained that her husband was the only man for her and she wouldn't avoid anyone because they all seemed so lovely, with Syed describing her as a 'mercedes of a woman' which is a compliment I guess! Felix also said that he would snog Manrika, marry Gemma and avoid Billy, and Manrika was quick to reply by saying 'I love a man in a uniform!', with Manrika saying 'what???' in shock of her response! Felix said she's now torn between both Gemma and Manrika, but she's 'gonna have to flirt with everyone and hope they don't take it personally'.
Felix invited Manrika to a private chat, and asked what the 2 sides of Manrika were. Manrika stated that 'I don't fancy him, but if it's gonna help with the game then I'll do it' with Felix saying 'she's gonna eat him alive', with Felix a.k.a Natalya stating that she was worried for him! Manrika explained that one side of her can cook a roaster dinner for your mum and the other side can 'down a pint quicker than the average local, and a wild side which I shouldn't disclose...' with Felix admitting that she's 'swapped which woman I need now'. Manrika continued to flirt, asking what Felix wanted to eat as hashtag DinnerIsOnTheTable, and Felix explained that he's all about dessert and doesn't mind how it's presented, but adding 'the sweeter the better'. Manrika said 'forget Tinder, just come on The Circle', and added that she would put herself on a plate now, adding that 'I'm sweet enough'. Her final phrase before the episode ended was; 'you've gotta do what you gotta do, do you know what I mean!'
