The Circle UK Series 3 - Episode 14 (Thursday 1st April 2021)

Updated: Apr 8, 2023

Today is the day after Manrika and Felix's first date in The Circle. Manrika explained that she had a lovely night last night and added that she's 'got a really strong bond with Felix now'. Andy stated that he doesn't know Femi or Pippa yet so it would be good to start a chat with both of them, and Femi explained that he is slowly becoming part of The Circle family. Syed wanted to continue sigging on Femi to see if he slips up...

Pippa invited Manrika and Dorothy to a girls group chat called 'Chica Trio' to get the low down of Manrika's date with Felix, and she explained that it was steamy, adding a fire emoji after explaining that it seemed to go really well. She went on to ask Dorothy hown she met her boyfriend Dorothy who explained she met him at a club, and said 'never try and impress anybody, you should always be yourself'. Pippa explained that she thought her and Manrika would get on in real life. Femi also decided to create a chat with the boys; Andy, Syed, Felix and Vithun to try and bring the boys together and also get the info on Felix's date. Syed asked whether he should buy baby army clothes, and Vithun explained that the relationship seemed a little fun on. Felix wanted to try and change the topic of conversation away from him, so asked if any of the other guys had their eyes on anyone else in the game so far and Femi explained that he had an interest in Pippa, so Andy suggested as Syed was the 'Bangladeshi Austin Powers', would he be able to set them up. Felix explained that he was feeling a little bit of guilt, adding that 'what Felix is doing is one step further than what any of the other players are doing'. Syed decided to create a group chat with both Dorothy and Femi as they wanted to work out how Femi knew about the Gladiators show...Dorothy explained that this almost seemed like a question time with Femi, with Syed adding 'I hope Dorothy is switched on as well!'. Femi didn't seem to answer Syed's question about the show but agreed to catching up on some previous episodes, and both Dorothy and Syed thought that he had said he was a fan of the show in the group chat and could have contradicted himself. Syed added that 'I'm not sure what he's upto, but it seems a bit fishy'...

The players were involved with another minigame called 'Name Droppers' which saw 3 statements appear on the screen, and each of the players had to give their answer publicly in The Circle chat. The first question was 'who is your circle bestie' to which majority of the answers were Andy, as Syed, Felix, Vithun and Manrika all chose him, however Dorothy chose Felix and Pippa chose Manrika among some of the other players. The second question was who the other players thought should become an influencer next, with 2 people voting for Dorothy (Manrika and Vithun), and 2 choosing Felix. The final question asked who was the biggest competition, with Syed and Vithun choosing Andy, Pippa choosing Vithun and Dorothy choosing Pippa, Andy chose Manrika, Manrika chose Syed and Femi chose Pippa...meaning that Andy and Pippa were seen as the biggest competition. Syed explained that Felix, Dorothy, Pippa and Femi aren't being honest, and Pippa said it would be really interesting to see how the next ratings come out..adding that if Andy isn't top, somebody is telling porkie pies. Dorothy admitted that surely the influencers would have to get Andy out, as this a 'come to The Circle and make best friends', this is come to The Circle and win £100 grand!

Manrika invited Pippa to a private chat, explaining that it was nice that Pippa voted her as her circle bestie, adding that she could do with another ally on side that isn't going to go straight to Andy. Pippa explained that she was getting positive and genuine energy from Manrika...and with their conversation coming to an end, it was time for the players to rate eachother from 1st to 7th! Manrika explained that in this ratings, every single vote needs to be tactical. Here are some of the ratings:

Femi: Syed 1st, Syed: Manrika 1st, Manrika: Felix 1st, Felix: Dorothy 1st, Dorothy: Felix 1st. Towards the bottom of the leaderboard, Femi placed Andy in 6th, Vithun placed Pippa in 6th and Syed put Felix in 7th. Felix placed Pippa 7th as he hadn't spoken to her, Dorothy put Vithun 7th and she explained she had a better connection with Pippa in a few days, than with Vithun and she'd been in the game for a week and Pippa explained that she put Andy in 7th, only because he's popular among everyone else, so her low vote probably wouldn't have made a massive difference anyways. Finally, we saw Manrika place Vithun in 7th place, only because she seemed to have lost his trust due to commenting that anonymous comment in the earlier game. The ratings were revealed, and they were as follows:

8th: Vithun

7th: Pippa

6th: Femi

5th: Andy

3rd: Dorothy / Syed

2nd: Felix

1st: Manrika. Syed explained that he didn't know where he stood with Felix, Andy wasn't sure who the 2 of them together would block, Felix explained that this was a lot of responsibility and Dorothy said that no-one is safe at all. During Manrika and Felix's discussion about each of the players, they both agreed to save Dorothy almost straightaway. Manrika explained that she had a good bond with Syed, but sometimes got a catfish vibe which she would push to the back of her mind as the conversations they had seemed good to which Felix agreed on, but they realised that Syed wasn't going to be the next player they were going to block. Manrika explained that she and Pippa had started building a good connection and Felix explained the same about Femi, so although Felix had doubts about Pippa by saying she was the person he knew the least, both of the new players were safe from this blocking. Manrika stated that she might be questioning whether Andy was gameplaying or not, and added that almost half of The Circle called him bestie, and her trust seemed to be vanishing for Vithun. Felix replied to Manrika's comment about calling Andy a gameplayer, suggesting whether she saved him until the end as he could have been a possible option to block, and after Manrika revealed that it was Vithun behind the anonymous comment, Felix thought that Vithun seemed to be the most genuine player from the start.

Manrika said 'whatever I do now, I'm going to upset somebody'...and added that she and Felix had made a clear choice, but she was devastated it came to this. Vithun said that if it wasn't him, it would be one of the new players, and Andy said that going from the most popular to being moved on would not be how he wanted to leave the game. Manrika explained to the chat that she and Felix 'had to consider so many factors' including who they wanted to get to know more along with many other things. She added 'the decision comes down to the most important things...which are loyal and trust' and then she announced that the next player to be blocked was VITHUN! Andy explained that 'we may have just had confirmation that they're playing the game now', adding 'that's a bit sly'. So let's see who Vithun goes to see in Episode 15, and who will make the final as we get ever so close to finding out who wins the £100,000 prize!
