The Circle UK Series 3 - Episode 10 (Friday 26th March 2021)

Updated: Apr 8, 2023

To begin this episode off, we were reminded that Dorothy and Tally were the two players who were voted the least popular and one of them was going to be blocked from the game. Tally said 'I just don't think I'm a threat, so I don't know why people don't like me...'. Syed started a private chat with Tally, stating 'I can't believe this has happened to Tally', with Tally replying to his messages by saying 'people can be here for all the right reasons, even if they're a catfish' as Syed admitted that he would be there to protect Tally as he does for Manrika as well! He sadded 'your shine makes me smile' and that gave Tally a bit more confidence that she's solidified her relationship with Syed. Andy started a chat with Manrika, adding that she 'needs a bit of a virtual hug' after everything she had gone through in the previous events. Manrika stated that Tally was sure that the drawing of her was drawn by Felix, but she added that 'my heart is telling me something isn't right'. Andy said that the best thing to do was avoid all of the drama and let things settle themselves, and suggested to potentially not trust Tally. Dorothy said that she needed to clear her head for tomorrow and fight to remain in the game, and Tally admitted that her '3 solid ones that would keep me in are Andy, Manrika and Syed, with Syed adding that people have snaked Tally.

Dorothy invited Andy and Syed to their morning group chat to see how both of them were after the challenge yesterday. Andy said 'what I don't want her to do is plead' with Syed adding that she 'genuinely sees me and Andy as her allies'. Gemma invited Tally to a private chat with Gemma stating that she needed to 'get the emotional connection and see what she thinks about Felix' Gemma added that he was all over her on day 1, on day 2 he's all over Manrika and making marriage proposals, with Tally agreeing that 'Gemma doesn't like Felix or Dot...the suspicions I have, are the two people being negative...'. Manrika invited Felix to a chat as she said she wanted to 'see his thoughts on Tally, wanted a bit of banter and a bit of a flirt', adding that 'imagine if it's a catfish', she would leave the country! Felix admitted he was shocked about Tally being at the bottom of the leaderboard, and Manrika had to think about how she would react to the message as she put Tally at the bottom. Felix said that 'Tally's had her time in here and I think Dorothy's just starting her journey'. Gemma invited Syed and Andy to a group chat called 'relationship building; which Syed thought was a corporate work exercise. Gemma admitted that Andy is higher up in the leaderboard, but they come in a pair as it seems, and decided to discuss the painting challenge with both of them. Syed decided to drop a bombshell and said that he thought Manrika had drawn the image of Gemma, and hoped that the rumour didn't come back to haunt him. Gemma said that she could add Manrika's name to the potential list, alongside Syed, Dorothy and Felix.

The next game that the players were involved with was called 'Agony Aunts' which saw Dorothy and Tally dress up with a grey haired wig, scarf and glasses, allowing each player to anonymously ask questions about whatever they wanted, giving the girls the chance to offer their wisest advice to try and impress them. Vithun said that he could be more controversial with what he can say, and Manrika said she had her doubts on both of the players, from from the conversation she had with Tally yesterday, it's put her in an awkward position. Syed asked a cheeky question about how to please himself in The Circle whilst his wife wasn't there, with Tally saying he should ask for private time and Dorothy being more open by telling him to just get on with it. Tally stated that it didn't seem like an old lady's message with Andy adding 'whoever Doroty is, is a hero!'. Felix's question asked that if you think your friend is pretending to be someone they're not, how do you approach them? Tally said that the best thing to do was to 'love them for who they are, and not the pictures they're using'. Vithun tried to cause some drama by saying 'I've found myself in a relationship and it's going too fast, how do I slow things down to a comfortable pace?' which got both Manrika and Felix thinking that the other one wrote that anonymous question. Gemma added that 'Tally's nailing everything at the moment!' with Manrika adding 'she cannot think I wrote that!' after giving her advice. The final question was from Andy, about 'how do we stop fellow players taking a swipe at eachother each time they're allowed to be anonymous', adding 'there's a line, and yesterday we crossed that line'. Syed added that it was a strong question and the answer needed to be just as strong. Dorothy's answer stated that 'players tell the truth, but it gets very nasty and very unnecessary' with Felix adding that 'players are there just to stir the pot' and Tally hoped that people's true colours could be revealed. After the game had finished, Tally said that she thought she did really well, and Gemma added that she had no reason to doubt Tally, and that she's definitely real.

Emma Willis arrived in The Circle hub and said to the players who were at risk of being blocked that 'your fate will only be in the fate of one of your fellow players...the blocker', and said that the remaining players must now nominate the blocker. Syed said that 'the blocker needs to be someone who has had equal interactions' and Felix added that he wanted Dorothy to stay, so needed to pick someone who would keep her in and Tally said that people might trust Andy's judgement. The first set of votes were as follows:

Vithun: Andy

Syed: Gemma

Gemma: Manrika

Andy: Syed

Felix: Syed

Manrika: Andy...so the players had to vote again...

Felix: Andy

Syed: Gemma

Andy: Felix

Manrika: Andy

Gemma: Syed

Vithun: Syed...again it was joint so the players had to vote again...

Manrika: Andy

Gemma: Vithun

Syed: Gemma

Andy: Felix

Felix: Andy

Vithun: Andy...and Andy therefore became the sole blocker. He said 'I didn't see this coming...it's actually so hard not having someone to discuss this with', adding that he was choosing between 2 people he wasn't convinced about. He said that Tally's best friend Manrika seemed to be having doubts about her, and a lot of people thought that Dorothy might be a catfish...and even Syed said 'who you gonna block bro?'. In the end he chose to block TALLY from The Circle, to which she replied 'I'm just really gutted!' Syed explained that people were suspecting Dorothy of being a catfish, but still saved her, and Manrika added that she feels responsible, and maybe if she wouldn't have rated Tally so low, she wouldn't have been in the bottom 2. Vithun said that Andy would have a lot of questions to answer as there was 'no explanation for that', and Gemma noticed that Manrika chose Andy and was supposed to be best friends with Tally, but Andy ended up binning Tally.

Tally was told that she was able to meet one player before she left, and she said 'I'm not fussed at seeing Vithun or Felix'. She said she felt kind of ok about Syed, was suspicious of Gemma and added that she would like to go and see Dorothy and say 'well done, you've got rid of an OG'. She said she could also see Manrika, but she would like to meet Andy. Andy said 'she'll see Manrika or Me' and Dorothy said 'she might wanna see who she was up against!'. We won't find out until Sunday's episode, but I hope you enjoyed this summary!
