At one of the Nottingham Creatives meet-ups, I remember there was a group of photographers all taking pictures of the same model. There was somebody behind me taking pictures over my shoulder and then I heard them heavy breathing...Turns out, we ended up exchanging phone numbers and social media accounts after the meet-up and then I received an interesting message!
Ricky Liu, the photographer that I didn't know the name of at first, messaged me on Instagram and asked me if I wanted to help him film 'behind the scenes' of a music video he was shooting in the following weeks. He said that I seemed interesting and that he would love to work with me, so obviously I said yes.
I met an amazing singer/songwriter from Nottingham called Mollie Ralph who was due to be releasing an EP about a month afterwards. We recorded the video for her single 'Old Cafe'. I was left to independently film some footage and get some pictures of the shoot, instead of being fully watched over!
My 'behind the scenes' video is also linked below:
I also attended the EP event that Mollie Ralph performed at with her sister Jessica. They performed at Rough Trade for the event and I have also attached some of the best images below...
