Hey all!
For today's music review, I have to speak about a new music video by my FAVOURITE artists in the world...Little Mix! One of their newest singles 'Sweet Melody' has an accompanying music video and I musr say that it's definitely one of the only positive highlights of 2021.
In the music video, we can see all of the girls wearing sexy black and white outfits, and it almost seems like they are performance a variety of dance routines in a car park...and I don't know how anybody could possibly make that look sexy, but they did an amazing job and it's one of my favourite music videos that they have created to date! One of the best parts of the music video is that each of the girls has their own individual moments, and I love the intro vocals by Jesy, and initial dance performance by Jade...as she sets a good pace for the rest of the girls! Also, that long hair is absolutely stunning!
The variety of camera shots in the music video is also really cool as it makes you go on a journey with the girls and their dancers. When Jesy has her solo dance routine, there are really nice lights in the background which create more of an intense scene to the music video. The great lyrics and high quality dancing just makes this music video almost seem like a short movie.
One of the other things that a lot of people were speaking about is how the girls have all grown up so much, their hairstyles are constantly changing and that they have become more and more confident in terms of their dancing, singing and performing!
Towards the end of the music video, the shots are filled with small patches of fire, and Leigh Anne finally has her solo moment, and she totally works that floor - almost like she's got a ghost inside of her trying to escape through the dancing! I also love the variety of different pans, zoom in and outs along with the constant ray of lights in the background! Going in 2021, what do the girls have planned for new music video concepts?
