Hey everyone!
The film 'Gifted' reminds me of when I was at Secondary school and I was in the 'Gifted and Talented' class for being different from the other children. This film was about a young girl called Mary who was fighting between ordinary school life with a basic home life, or more specialised schooling with an over protective Grandmother. It was very interesting to watch and there were lots of great scenes where the young girl 'Mary' had a few funny one liners or jokes.
With one of the main characters having a fling with Mary's teacher, the over protective Grandma trying to take ownership of Mary along with a variety of other issues and complications within the film, we gradually see the family overcome their differences, as Mary is seen to be growing up just like her mother was as a young child before ending her own life - and also being the magical woman of her family who led the way for the generations in her family to come. It was an emotional film with a great ending, and the good characters always win which was great to see!
